A woman is dead after a highway collision between two vehicles Monday morning northeast of Westlock, Alta.
RCMP said in a media release the 29-year-old driver from Westlock County died at the scene on Highway 2 at Range Road 251, about 20 kilometres northeast of the town.
STARS air ambulance took the driver of the other vehicle, a 71-year-old Edmonton man, to hospital, RCMP said.
Police closed the section of highway at the scene for several hours. It has since reopened.
Westlock is 72 kilometres northwest of Edmonton.
