The Burford & District Optimist Club is asking for help after a food trailer was stolen. The trailer was being stored at a location on 2nd Concession Road and Middle Townline Road in the County of Brant. However, on July 5 someone driving a pickup truck hooked up to the silver trailer around 10:05 a.m. and drove away with it. “It contained much of the cooking equipment and resources needed to fundraise for Burford Youth activities and organizations. We need our community help to try and find it,” the group wrote in a social media post on Saturday. The trailer’s licence plate reads J3972V. Anyone who knows where the trailer is located is urged to contact the Ontario Provincial Police.
