A couple of retirees from Cambridge are celebrating their first big win after playing the lottery for more than three decades.
Wanda and William Cyples claimed a $250,000 prize with OLG’s Instant Cashingo.
“My husband played our ticket and then yelled out for me. I was worried he was hurt so I came running to him,” Wanda said while the pair picked up their prize.
“I told Wanda to grab a bottle of wine because we had something to celebrate,” William recounted.
“I rolled by eyes and said, ‘Don’t be messing with me. I’m tried,” Wanda said.
The couple plan to invest the money for their retirement.
“Retirement is about to be a lot more relaxing,” they said.
The winning ticket was bought at the Little Short Stop on Norfolk Avenue in Cambridge.
