A Canada-wide warrant has been issued for federal offender known to spend time in Kitchener. Evan Haney, 29, is currently serving a sentence of two years and three months on a long list of charges: break and enter, disguise with intent, theft under $5,000, assault with a weapon, disobeying a court order, break and enter with intent, identify fraud with intent to gain advantage, break and enter with intent to commit an offence, and fraud under $5,000. The Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement (R.O.P.E.) Squad said he breached the conditions of his statutory release. A Canada-wide warrant was also issued for Haney in December. He is described as an Indigenous male, 5’10” (178 cm) and 190 lbs. (86 kgs). Haney has a fair complexion, brown hair and hazel eyes. He is also known to wear brown-rimmed glasses and has a number of tattoos on his body, including: The R.O.P.E. squad said Haney is known to frequent Kitchener and the Midland area.
