Two people have been taken to hospital after a crash at the intersection of Cockshutt Road and Concession 10 Townsend in Norfolk County.

Ontario Provincial Police Sgt. Ed Sanchuk said the crash between two pickup trucks happened around 4:30 p.m. Monday.

“The first pickup truck driver did not suffer injuries. The driver and passenger in a second pickup truck suffered injuries. That driver was transported to a local hospital by ambulance to be treated for those injuries, while the passenger was transported by Air ORNGE and airlifted to a local area hospital to be treated for undetermined injuries,” Sanchuk said in a video posted to social media.

In an update just after 9 p.m., police said the injuries to both people are considered to be non-life threatening.

He added some Good Samaritans stopped to help the people involved in the crash.
