Driver charged for driving wrong way on the Hanlon Parkway

Ontario Provincial Police said a potential tragedy was averted after one of their officers stopped a driver going the wrong way on the Hanlon Parkway in Guelph.

In a social media post, police said the vehicle was travelling northbound in the southbound lanes on Friday.

The driver was charged with careless driving and failing to produce insurance and a permit.
