A Flamboro Speedway employee has died after being injured in an incident at the racetrack Saturday night. Hamilton Police said officers were called to the speedway at about 9:15 p.m. following a workplace accident in which an employee was injured on the track. The employee was taken to Hamilton General Hospital, where they later died rom their injuries. Patrol officers, divisional detectives, forensic services and collision reconstruction officers attended the scene and assisted the Ontario Ministry of Labour with the investigation. Police said the Ministry of Labour has assumed responsibility for the investigation. No additional information has been released.
