The Guelph Police Service has seized dozens of firearms and thousands of dollars worth of cocaine as part of an investigation.
Police said two men were arrested in a parking lot in the city’s west end on April 8. During the arrest, officers found what they called ‘a large amount of cocaine’ worth approximately $23,100. They also seized a scale, 11 rounds of ammunition and $2,750 in cash.
A 22-year-old Brampton man has been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking, trafficking a controlled substance and unsafe storage of ammunition.
A 30-year-old Kitchener man has been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of proceeds of crime under $5,000, failure to comply with judicial release order and two counts of breach probation.
As part of the investigation, the Guelph Police Service executed a search warrant the next day in a rural area of Hamilton.
During the search, a man and a woman were arrested. Police said they were found inside a home with two loaded firearms close by.
After their arrest, police said they found approximately 60 firearms, thousands of rounds of ammunition, an over-capacity magazine, a 3D printer with a 3D-printed modified magazine and a bullet reloading press.
Investigators said the weapons and ammunition were stored carelessly.

A 52-year-old man and a 33-year-old woman, both from Hamilton, were charged with two counts of careless use of a firearm (unsafe storage), possession of prohibited weapon/device or ammunition, and unsafe storage of a firearm.
