A road in North Dumfries Township was closed Wednesday after police say a hydro pole was damaged in a single-vehicle collision.
Old Beverly Road in North Dumfries Township is closed between Shellard Road and Sheffield Road, according to a social media post made by the Waterloo Regional Police Service around 1 p.m.
The vehicle has been towed but the road is closed for hydro repairs.
Police are asking people to avoid the area.
Police said they don’t have any details about possible injuries, and it is unclear how long repairs will take.
