The Waterloo Regional Police Service has released new information about an arson investigation in Kitchener. On Friday, investigators published photos and a video of two suspects who may be tied to a fire at Palmyra Grill & Desserts, a restaurant on Lancaster Street West. Emergency responders were called to the business on May 30 around 5 a.m. Nine trucks from five Kitchener Fire stations were sent to the area. Officials said a significant fire was burning inside a building. The photos released on Friday show two people holding containers with an unknown substance inside. Investigators believe they may have used an accelerant to create a damaging fire. No injures were reported at the time of the fire.
