A Kitchener man is facing several charges related to a disturbance on a Grand River Transit bus. The Waterloo Regional Police Service said the man got onto the bus in Kitchener on Saturday around 11:45 a.m. He then started arguing with the driver. During the confrontation, the man reportedly made threats and hurled offensive and discriminatory comments toward passengers. Police said his behaviour escalated to the point where he disrupted service. A 33-year-old Kitchener man was charged with uttering threats to cause bodily harm, uttering threats to damage property, causing a disturbance, being intoxicated in a public place, mischief interfering with property and obstructing a peace officer.
