Jeremy Ledbetter is now a two-time winner at the Junos.

The musician who grew up in Kitchener won Jazz Album of the Year for his 2024 release Gravity. He made it as part of the Jeremy Ledbetter Trio, along with drummer Larnell Lewis and bassist Rich Brown.

Ledbetter’s decades-long career, however, hasn’t been limited to jazz music.

He’s also produced in a variety of genres including Latin, calypso, soca and salsa music.

Ledbetter took home his first Juno Award as the producer on Okantomi, by OKAN, which won World Music Album of the Year in 2021.
