Waterloo Regional Police arrested a man in connection to multiple harassment incidents on public transit in the last month and a half.
Police said they received three reports of multiple incidents on public transit in Kitchener between Feb. 14, 2025 and March 16, 2025. They said all instances involved a man harassing people who were commuting.
After further investigation, police arrested a 34-year-old man from Cambridge on March 27. He was charged with sexual assault and three counts of criminal harassment and held in police custody for a bail hearing.
