Man goes through drive-thru window, allegedly sexually assaults Cambridge employees

A man has been charged after police say he went through a drive-thru window and sexually assaulted two employees at a Cambridge business.

Waterloo Regional Police were called to a business at Eagle Street North and Hespeler Road at around 12:15 a.m. Tuesday.

They said an unknown man climbed through a drive-thru window and sexually assaulted two employees who were working inside.

“The male used a weapon during the altercation which resulted in the employees suffering minor non-life-threatening injuries,” said a media release.

Officers were able to quickly locate the man and took him into custody.

The 32-year-old from Cambridge has been charged with multiple offences including sexual assault, sexual assault with a weapon and break and enter.
