Markham men arrested during suspicious vehicle call in Kitchener

Waterloo Regional Police Service have arrested two men as part of an investigation into a suspicious vehicle in Kitchener.

Officers were called to the Bridge Street East and Hollinger Crescent area around 5 a.m. Thursday.

When they arrived, police found the vehicle and arrested a 32-year-old man and a 27-year-old man, both from Markham.

During the arrest, officers found a grinder, grinding discs, a hammer and a flashlight. Both men were also wanted on outstanding warrants in the Greater Toronto Area.

The pair have been charged with attempted break and enter, possession of break and enter tools, possession of a master key, three counts of failing to comply with a release order and possession of an identity document.
