Massage business employee held against their will by Guelph man, say police

A 28-year-old man has been charged with sexual assault after Guelph Police say he held an employee against her will in a room at an unnamed massage business.

Police said they got a call from a man, at around 2 p.m. on Tuesday, who said a woman ran over to his place of work and told him a customer was holding her co-worker by force in a small room.

Officers learned the man had gone to the business to ask what services they offered, before getting into a verbal argument with the employee and pushing her into the room. Police said he then took the woman’s phone and exposed himself.

The 28-year-old Guelph man has been charged with forcible confinement, sexual assault, assault, robbery and communicating for the purpose of obtaining sexual services.
