One person seriously hurt after crash in Cambridge

One person was taken to hospital with serious injuries after an early morning crash in Cambridge Monday.

In a social media post at 7:09 a.m., the Waterloo Regional Police Service said first responders were on-scene of a crash near Ainslie Street and Walnut Street. They confirmed in an email to CTV News that the crash was reported to them at around 5:40 a.m. and was between a pedestrian and motor vehicle. A 58-year-old man had serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

Ainslie Street between Veterans Way and Bruce Street was closed for investigation.
