Over $1K in products and groceries stolen from Fergus store

Ontario Provincial Police are looking for two suspects in a Fergus, Ont. grocery theft, April 10, 2025 (Courtesy: OPP).

Police are looking for tips after approximately $1,000 in products and groceries were stolen from a Fergus, Ont. store Thursday afternoon.

The Ontario Provincial Police said at around 4:35 p.m., a woman and a man walked into a store on St. David Street North separately. They then began to fill their carts with multiple items. 

According to police, the man walked out the front doors by the produce section with the items, making no attempt to pay. The woman put the items she had into a rolling laundry hamper before walking past the registers and leaving the store without paying. Both the man and woman were seen getting into a white Ford SPE.

OPP believe around $1,100 in items were stolen.

They are asking anyone with information on the theft to call them at 1-888-310-1122 and reference the occurrence number E250438001.
