A man from Peel Region has been charged for two attempted break-ins at places of worship in Cambridge and Kitchener.
The Waterloo Regional Police Service said the attempts were made in the Bridge Street East and McIntyre Drive area of Kitchener and the Old Mill Road area of Cambridge on March 26.
A man was arrested two days later by York Regional Police on unrelated charges.
As part of the investigation in Waterloo Region, a 43-year-old man will be charged with three counts of break and enter, disguise with intent and failure to comply with a release order.
Police said none of the buildings were actually entered, but investigators think the incidents were targeted.
