Kitchener man charged after multiple break-and-enters in K-W

Waterloo Regional Police have charged a Kitchener man in connection to a robbery and multiple break-and-enters in Waterloo and Kitchener.

Police responded to an in-progress break-and-enter at a business on Lancaster Street West in Kitchener at around 4 a.m. Monday.

When officers arrived, they found and arrested a man inside the store.

Through their investigation, police determined that the same man was responsible for a convenience store robbery in Kitchener earlier that morning, as well as three additional commercial break-ins, two on King Street North in Waterloo and another on Lancaster Street West in Kitchener.

A 32-year-old man has been charged with robbery with a weapon, three counts of break, enter and commit theft and break, enter - attempt.
