Someone who was trying to sell an item in Kitchener was assaulted with bear spray and robbed. The Waterloo Regional Police said the victim was trying to sell a “high value item” on Friday around 10:58 p.m. when they were approached by two people in the Victoria Street South and Garment Street area. The victim was sprayed and the suspects ran off with the item. They climbed into a newer-model sedan and drove away. The first suspect was described as a 5’8” Black man who was around 20 years old. He had a slim build and medium-length brown hair worn in an afro style. He wore a grey hoodie. The second suspect was described as a Black man between 5’5” and 5’6” with medium-length brown hair worn in an afro style. He wore a black hoodie.
