Victim struck by vehicle and hit with a gun during Waterloo robbery

Waterloo Regional Police are looking for multiple suspects following a violent robbery.

It happened Friday, around 2 a.m., in a parking lot near Waterloo Town Square.

The victim told officers they were walking through the lot when a vehicle began “chasing” them and then struck the victim.

Two of the people inside the vehicle allegedly had guns.

The victim said they were hit on the head by one of the suspects, then robbed.

They were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police believe up to five people could have been involved. They were described as South Asian men, in their early 20s and wearing masks.
