A Brampton man has been arrested after police say a Guelph electronics business was broken into twice and close to $20,000 in product was stolen.

Guelph Police say two males broke into a business inside Stone Road Mall on Dec. 10, shortly after it had closed. They used a crowbar to pry open locked cabinets and stole more than $17,000 worth of phones and tablets, according to police.

On Jan. 5, police say the same males broke into the business again and stolen approximately $2,000 worth of items.

During an investigation by York Regional Police, three males were arrested for similar incidents throughout Ontario.

A 34-year-old man is facing two counts of break and enter related to the Guelph incidents.
