The Guelph Police Service has laid additional charges against a Grand Valley man arrested earlier this year after engaging with an undercover officer in sexually explicit conversations. From March until May, officers chatted with the man who they say engaged them in sexually explicit conversations, requested nude photos and proposed an in-person meeting at a hotel. The 60-year-old man was arrested on May 6 for two counts of luring a child and several devices were seized for further investigation. As a result of that ongoing investigation, the man was arrested again Wednesday for another count of luring, possessing and distributing child sexual abuse/exploitation material and making sexually explicit material available to a child under 16.
