A crash between a dump truck and SUV closed an intersection in Erin, Ont. early Thursday afternoon. The two vehicles collided at Patrick Drive and Eighth Line around 12:15 p.m. Ontario Provincial Police said the driver of the SUV was taken by ambulance to a local trauma centre. A passenger in the SUV was also airlifted to a trauma centre. OPP said both had non-life-threatening injuries. Wellington Road 124 was closed from Eighth Line to Trafalgar Road for approximately two hours. It reopened around 2:15 p.m.
