‘Bitterly cold temperatures’ Wednesday night

However, CTV London Meteorologist Julie Atchison warns that temperatures are dropping Wednesday night, “Bitterly cold temperatures across the area with wind chills overnight feeling like minus 22.”

She said an area of light snowfall will move in overnight into Thursday morning, “Likely about 2 to 4 centimeters as the system first comes in overnight.”

By Thursday afternoon, a light snowfall will turn to flurries off and on into Thursday night.

While Thursday remains frigid, “A brief reprieve from the cold [is expected] as we head into your Saturday,” said Atchison.

Wednesday Night: Mainly cloudy with 40 per cent chance of flurries. Wind southwest 30 km/h gusting to 50. Low minus 12. Wind chill minus 16 this evening and minus 22 overnight.

Thursday: Flurries. Local amount 2 cm. Wind southwest 30 km/h gusting to 50. High minus 4. Wind chill minus 20 in the morning and minus 11 in the afternoon.

Friday: Cloudy. High zero.

Saturday: Cloudy with 60 percent chance of flurries or rain showers. High plus 1.

Sunday: Cloudy with 30 percent chance of flurries. High minus 8.
