CPKC Holiday train in the region tonight

The CPKC Holiday Train will make stops in Woodstock and London Friday evening.

The train spends just over a month travelling through communities in Canada and the U.S., raising money, food and awareness to support local food banks.

Each community also gets special musical performances. London and Woodstock will see indie rockers Smash Mouth and Kitchener’s J.J. Wilde.

The stop in Woodstock will be at 6:50 p.m. and the train will arrive in London around 8:30 p.m.

The Holiday Train started in 1999 and has raised more than $26 million and collected about 5.4 million pounds of food for local food banks.
