Police in Perth County are reporting a fatal crash involving a snowmobile.
“OPP are investigating a single, motorized vehicle snowmobile crash that has claimed the life of an 18 year old from Perth County,” said Sgt. Ed Sanchuk.
Emergency crews, including Sebringville fire and EMS, were called to the scene on a snowmobile trail between Perth road 135 and Perth Road 140 around 8:30 p.m. on Sunday.
According to police, the snowmobile struck a tree and the driver was taken to hospital where they were later pronounced deceased.
“To all of our call takers, dispatchers, first responders and good samaritans that were on that trail tonight, thank you,” said Sanchuk.
