On Tuesday, a London courtroom heard where the body of 27-year-old Shaniqua Henry was located in the summer of 2022.
Ontario Provincial Police Forensic Identification Officer Rob Laaper told the court that Henry’s body was found part way up a long driveway at 123 Jubilee Road on Chippewas of the Thames First Nation.
“There was blood on her leg and… a significant wound on her forearm,” said Laaper.
A post-mortem revealed that Henry died from a fatal stab wound to the chest.

The officer told the court that police later seized a black Chev Impala which had a blood droplet on a front wheel.
After an investigation the OPP arrested and charged Henry’s one-time friend 34-year-old Koree Dockstater. She has plead not guilty to second degree murder.
The trial is expected to last a month.
