Humidity to rise, temperatures in low 20s for Wednesday

A cloudy start to your Wednesday and still a slight chance for a few light showers today, but not expecting a whole lot in the way of measurable moisture.

“There’ll be some breaks in the cloud cover as well, temperatures are set to climb into the low 20s, but you’ll notice the humidity through the afternoon,” said CTV News London Meteorologist Julie Atchison. “It will feel like the upper 20s, so higher humidity values feeling more summer-like.”

There is the possibility of a thunderstorm developing late in the afternoon into the early evening as the region remains under the influence of an upper-level low that is spinning south of the Great Lakes.

For Thursday, on the warmer side again with winds out of the southeast, a 40 per cent chance of some spotty showers at 24 C.

It will get hot on Friday and will generally be a rain-free day.

“We could see a little bit of rain first thing in the morning as the warm front comes in, but we’ll be firmly in that warm sector and temperatures are set to climb into the upper 20s,” Atchison added.

The long weekend is expected to be a bit unsettled, but improving with more sunshine than cloud cover.
