The London Knights began their four-game road trip with a loss in Kitchener Tuesday night, falling 5-2 to the Rangers.
London came back from a 2-0 deficit in the second period to tie the game thanks to goals from Landon Sim and Blake Montgomery. Easton Cowan also picked up an assist, extending his regular season point streak to 61 games.
Kitchener broke the deadlock minutes later though, and went on to add two more goals in the third period.
Despite the loss, the Knights remain on top of the OHL standings. They’re next game on the road trip is Thursday in North Bay, before two more games in Northern Ontario this weekend.
