London takes on Guelph tonight at Canada Life Place, and for the newest member of the Knights’ defense corps, it will be the first time he faces his old team.

“That’ll be weird. I’m excited for it, though,” said Cam Allen, Knights defenceman. “That’s a group that works really hard, and it’s a young team, but, yeah, I’m excited to see those faces again and go up against them.”

Cam Allen joined London in a big trade with the Storm just before Christmas. London sent seven draft picks and a young player to acquire the blue-liner, and he’s been exceptional, tallying 12 points in eight games.

While he’s dreaming of playing for a national title later this year, Allen is trying to stay grounded.

" I think this team can do a lot. It’s just about taking it a game at a time and getting better each day,” said Allen. “You know, it’s easy to look ahead towards the Memorial Cup and all that, but I think our focus has to be on right now and just getting better every day.”
