A motorcyclist has died after a serious crash in northeast London.
Emergency crews were called to the intersection of Highbury Avenue and Edgevalley Road at 5:30 p.m. for reports of a crash between a car and a motorcycle.
According to police, the driver of the motorcycle was transported to hospital by paramedic services with life-threatening injuries — the man, identified as 49-year-old Brian Paul Kloth of Ilderton, later died.
The driver of the involved vehicle remained at the scene.
The investigation is in its early stages, and investigators are asking anyone who may have been in the area at the time of the reported crash, who may have dash-cam, business or residential video surveillance, to contact police.
