Measles exposure reported by Southwestern Public Health

Southwestern Public Health is reporting measles exposures in the region.

According to the organization, there are three potential exposure sites in St. Thomas and Aylmer.

If you were present at these locations during the timeframes listed, were born in 1970 or later, and are not up to date with your vaccinations, you are asked to call public health at 1-800-922-0096 ext. 1232.

Those who were only present briefly are also asked to contact public health, since measles is highly contagious and can linger in the air for up to two hours.
