One person was rushed to hospital with serious injuries Thursday afternoon following a house fire in east London.
The flames broke out on Avalon Street, near Clarke Road and Paterson Avenue.
Fire crews evacuated several nearby homes as a precaution.
Officials at the scene say the fire destroyed the house and, at this point, a cause is under investigation by the Ontario Fire Marshall.
