One man arrested, one sought after firearms and stolen motorcycles seized

London police are asking for the public’s help finding a 36-year-old London man wanted in relation to an investigation involving guns and stolen motorcycles.

On Saturday, May 17, at 10:50 a.m., police were called to a home in the area of Egerton Street and Grafton Street in relation to a stolen vehicle investigation. Officers attended and observed the reported stolen motorcycle at the rear of the residence.

A search warrant was obtained and executed, resulting in the recovery of three stolen motorcycles and the seizure of two firearms, one of which was loaded.

As a result of the investigation, a 40-year-old man and Johnny M. Grebenchan, 36, both of London, have been charged jointly with the following offences:

• Three counts of possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000;
• Three counts of carless storage of a firearm, weapon, prohibited device of ammunition;
• Three counts of possess of firearm or ammunition;
• Two counts of possess restricted or prohibited firearm knowingly not holding a licence;
• Possess firearm other than restricted or prohibited firearm; and
• Possess loaded/unloaded regulated firearm.

The 40-year-old has additionally been charged with one count of operation while prohibited. He has been arrested, while investigators have not located Grebenchan and continue to search for him.

Police say a photograph of Grebenchan is being released in the hopes that members of the public can help police find him.
