Perth County OPP recently hit the streets in an effort to make safer intersections in the county.
Five intersections were identified, totalling 33 collisions in two-years. According to police, the initiative, called “Look Twice, Save a Life”, worked to educate drivers and take enforcement action.
The intersections that were involved were:
- Main Street East and Davidson Avenue North in Listowel
- Perth Line 72 and Road 131 in Perth East
- Line 39 and Road 135 in Perth East
- Perth Line 20 and Road 164 in West Perth
- Cobble Hills Road and Highway 7 in Perth South
21 Provincial Official Notices were given to drivers from November 2024 to December 2024.
