OPP work to create safer intersections

Perth County OPP recently hit the streets in an effort to make safer intersections in the county.

Five intersections were identified, totalling 33 collisions in two-years. According to police, the initiative, called “Look Twice, Save a Life”, worked to educate drivers and take enforcement action.

The intersections that were involved were:

  • Main Street East and Davidson Avenue North in Listowel
  • Perth Line 72 and Road 131 in Perth East
  • Line 39 and Road 135 in Perth East
  • Perth Line 20 and Road 164 in West Perth
  • Cobble Hills Road and Highway 7 in Perth South

21 Provincial Official Notices were given to drivers from November 2024 to December 2024.
