Pedestrian hit in east London crash

A pedestrian has been taken to hospital with minor injuries after being struck by a vehicle.

Emergency crews responded to the scene of a multi-vehicle crash involving a pedestrian on Tuesday evening in the area of Hamilton Road and Highbury Avenue.

Police closed the northbound lanes while they investigated the incident and crews cleaned up the scene.

According to police, the investigation is ongoing.
