Showers, sunshine, and everything in between for the coming week

Conditions for the coming week are all over the map, CTV London Meteorologist Julie Atchison has all the details so you can stay dry.

Unsettled conditions with a mix of sun and showers is projected for the rest of the week – a perfect way to close out May.

“A cloudy start to the day with a chance of showers moving in this afternoon,” predicted CTV London Meteorologist Julie Atchison. “Periods of rain expected as we head into the latter half of the day.”

Showers are expected to roll through the region on Wednesday night, with heavier rain expected in Grey and Bruce County, as well as the Bruce Peninsula.

“As we head towards Eastern Ontario, we will see some heavier rainfall on Wednesday night, early Thursday,” said Atchison. Cloudy conditions are expected to persist on Thursday, with a few scattered showers throughout the region.

Sunnier conditions are expected heading into the weekend, with a warmup on the way to start June, “setting up to finally have a nice stretch of sunshine again – 18 degrees Saturday into Sunday with a fair amount of sunshine,” said Atchison.

Wednesday: Becoming cloudy in the morning with showers. Wind becoming east 20 km/h in the morning. High 16. UV index 4 or moderate.

Wednesday night: Showers ending near midnight then cloudy with 60 per cent chance of showers or drizzle. Wind east 20 km/h becoming light late in the evening. Low 11.

Thursday: Cloudy with 40 per cent chance of showers. High 17.

Friday: A mix of sun and cloud. High 21.

Saturday: Sunny. High 18.
