St. Michael’s Catholic Secondary School in Stratford has been donated a new CNC machine.

The machine was donated by the Canadian Tooling and Machining Association (CTMA), the Ontario Council for Technology Education (OCTE), and partially funded through the province’s Skills Development Fund.

A CNC machine, or a Computer Numerical Control machine, is used in manufacturing, allowing a computer to control precise cuts on various materials.

An official ribbon cutting was done on Wednesday.
