The St. Thomas Police Service has made an arrest in an ongoing arson investigation at a residence on Catharine Street.
Police were able to identify the wanted suspect through witness interviews, video canvassing, and police investigation techniques, leading to the arrest of a 35-year-old St. Thomas man.
He was wanted on charges of arson endangering life. Officers in the downtown core of St. Thomas saw the man on Saturday. He was taken to the police station, interviewed, and released with a court date.
The incident took place on March 1.
