A special weather statement is in effect for most of midwestern Ontario, including Huron-Perth, Lambton County, Elgin County, and London-Middlesex.
We also have a snow squall warning in effect and through southern Grey County and northern Bruce County.
“Strong wind gusts as we move through your Monday,” said CTV London Meteorologist Julie Atchison. “They will continue to gust through the evening and as we push through the early part of the overnight.”
Atchison added that a strong Arctic cold front is on the move through the area and we have flurries and snowfall associated with that, “So snow will be moving into the area tonight, starting with some flurries.”
Flurries will continue Tuesday morning with the potential for squalls off of Lake Huron.
