Two dead after collision in Lambton County

A collision Tuesday afternoon in Lambton County has claimed two lives.

Two people are dead following a devastating crash at an intersection in Plympton-Wyoming.

A white commercial truck towing a trailer of golf carts collided with a blue sedan near the intersection of Lakeshore Road and Aberarder Line around 2 p.m. on Tuesday.

According to Lambton OPP, two people were pronounced dead at the scene and a third sustained minor injuries.

The intersection was closed for several hours while the OPP West Region Traffic Incident Management Enforcement (TIME) Team investigated.

So far no information has been released regarding the identities of the deceased, or what caused the crash.
