Montreal police (SPVM) arrested three men who are facing first-degree murder charges in connection with the Feb. 2 shooting death of a man, 55, in the Notre-Dame-de-Grâce (NDG) neighbourhood.
Montrealers Dariush Kabirinaeini, 22, Bryan Moreau-Gignac, 26, and Samuel Jourdain Cody, 35, of Quebec City, were located in Baie-Comeau, Quebec City and Montreal on Thursday and are expected in court on Friday.
Police reported that the victim, Jean-David Isme, 55, was shot and wounded on Saint-Jacques Street on Feb. 2 and rushed to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
It was Montreal’s third homicide in 2025.
Quebec City Police (SPVQ) and Quebec provincial police (SQ) assisted in the searches in the three cities in addition to Laval.
