Someone who bought a ticket in Quebec is $5 million richer after the Lotto 6/49 draw on Friday.
The ticket was sold in Sherbrooke.
Loto-Quebec said in a news release that the next Golden Ball jackpot will be $44 million while the classic jackpot remains $5 million.
The state-run company said that since the beginning of 2025, more than $1 billion in winnings have been handed out in Quebec.
Those who have purchased a ticket, can check Loto-Quebec’s website to see if they have won.
