Activities to enjoy in Montreal during March break

With March break here, many families are opting for local winter activities, from snow tubing in Piedmont to cross-country skiing in Ste-Adèle.

March break kicked off this weekend for many in the province. Here is a list of fun and family-friendly activities for everyone to enjoy:

Parks

Enjoy nature with a variety of activities in the city’s parks, including skating, hiking and many others.

At Parc Jean-Drapeau, visitors can rent equipment all week to explore the park’s refrigerated ice trail with a view of the river. For even more fun, a natural ice rink awaits right beside the trail.

Families can also take part in a treasure hunt at Parc Frédéric-Back, followed by a guided snowshoe hike and snow games.”

Bird lovers can explore Mount Royal Park on snowshoes while spotting various birds and wildlife. The park also offers cross-country skiing.
