A 47-year-old man has died after police say he was beaten Wednesday afternoon on Montreal’s South Shore.
Longueuil police say road rage is one possible scenario being examined.
At 2:20 p.m., police received a 911 call and responded to Saint-Georges and Upper Edison streets in Saint-Lambert, where they found the victim.
He was sent to hospital in critical condition and later succumbed to his injuries.
A 24-year-old man was arrested and after questioning by investigators, was released with a promise to appear.
The investigation is ongoing.
