Man arrested after stabbing in the Plateau sends one to hospital

A man is in hospital after being stabbed in the Plateau in Montreal Wednesday night.

Montreal police (SPVM) say officers were called to an armed assault at an apartment on Christophe-Colomb Avenue near Mont-Royal Avenue around 8 p.m.

Police say the victim suffered injuries to his upper body and was conscious when taken to hospital. One man was arrested on scene.

The investigation is ongoing.
