Those driving in and around Montreal this Easter long weekend should know certain roads will be closed for construction, including the Bonaventure Expressway and the Turcot Interchange.
Drivers are advised to use planning apps before travelling.
Bonaventure Expressway (A-10)
- From Thursday at 10 p.m. to Tuesday at 5 a.m. the Bonaventure Expressway eastbound will be completely closed between exit 4 (Gaétan-Laberge Boulevard, A-15, A-20) and the Samuel-De Champlain Bridge.
- One of three lanes of the highway will be closed until December near the Peel Basin/Victoria Bridge.
- On the Clément Bridge, one lane will remain open in each direction until December.
- The Nuns’ Island exit (5) will be closed until the end of May.
Turcot Interchange / Décarie Expressway
- From Friday at 11 p.m. to Saturday at 9:30 a.m. and from Saturday at 11 p.m. to Sunday at 9:30 a.m. the Décarie Expressway (A-15) north will be closed between exit 62 (De La Vérendrye Boulevard) and the Turcot interchange.
As a result, the following are closed by default:
- Access to De La Vérendrye Boulevard
- The Turcot Interchange ramps to R-136 Eat, A-15 North (Décarie) and A-20 West (airport).
REM line
- The REM (Réseau Express Métropolitain) remains closed on Saturday and Sunday in April.
