Montreal in for a wet weekend as April showers settle in

After a sunny Friday, the weather is set to get wet on the weekend in Montreal.

Montrealers will want to make the most of their Friday before April showers come in full force this weekend.

The mercury is expected to go down to a low of 2 C on Friday night.

Those in the area can expect increasing clouds as rain moves in by around 11 a.m. Saturday morning.

Up to 14 millimetres is expected as the daytime temperature moves up to 6 C.

By 5 a.m. Sunday, those on the island can expect rain to clear to mostly cloudy skies.

A daytime high of 8 C awaits for Sunday, as is the norm for this time of year.
